Kemi
KemiSinger/songwriter Kemi began her professional career in Sioux City, Iowa, where she sang the soul-stirring song "My Offering" with Grammy-nominated Gospel recording artist James Bignon. After experiencing tremendous joy with that performance, she knew, without a shadow of doubt, that performing was the direction she wanted to go.

Her smooth, soft, sultry sound is influenced by the music of Yolanda Adams, LaShun Pace, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Kelly Price, Stephanie Mills, and Kim McFarland.

Kemi is the mother of three and lead vocalist for the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sioux City. She is the winner of the Iowa Gospel Talent Search Competition and semi-finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Gospel cateogry.

Bruce Miller, Entertainment Editor of the Sioux City Journal said, "This young woman has a remarkable voice that could easily land her a recording career if she so chooses."
